3-Day Comprehensive Course
This 3-day intensive course in Endodontic Microsurgery is designed for endodontists and general dentists who wish to enter the field of microsurgery or further develop their surgical skills, even with little or no prior experience.
The course provides a complete, step-by-step approach to endodontic microsurgery — from case selection and surgical planning to root-end management and microsuturing. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of indications, clinical decision-making, and contemporary microsurgical protocols, enabling them to confidently integrate surgical procedures into daily practice.
By the end of this intensive training, participants will be able to:
- Properly select cases and understand the indications for endodontic microsurgery
- Perform CBCT-based analysis
- Chose and execute appropriate flap designs
- Perform osteotomy and root-end resection using rotary and piezoelectric techniques
- Carry out root-end preparation and retrograde filling following modern microsurgical protocols
- Apply regenerative techniques where indicated
- Achieve predictable wound closure using microsuturing techniques
Hands-On Training Includes
- CBCT hands-on training for diagnosis and surgical planning
- Flap design practice on 3D models
- Osteotomy techniques using both rotary instruments and piezoelectric devices (3D models)
- Root-end management (resection, preparation, and retrograde filling) on 3D models
- Grafting and membrane application techniques
